The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. No modern liberal democracy can pay off it's debt. this is how the system is designed to operate. the whole thing would go down like a jenga tower if the largest economies started paying off their debt without taking on new debts this is akin to being worried that your freezer can't cook your steak to a perfect medium-rare doneness. It's no supposed to, and if it could it would be a terrible freezer.

I just want to comment about your statement that raising taxes is one way to increase the national income. That is actually not true, and by the way, all this is available on the US Treasury site. The income raised by taxes has been very consistent over the last 80 years or more. It's always 18% of GDP and can vary a point or two year to year. Keep in mind that tax rates in the last 80 years have been as high as 75% or more and still result in 18% of GDP. Interestingly enough, the one year you showed in your graph where the deficit was negative (2001), the US budget was about 18% of GDP that year. So, if you want to be deficit free, the answer is simple: Keep the budget at 18% of GDP. Of course, as you pointed out, not enough Americans are willing to accept that.

So with high inflation 1$ today will become somwehat 0.5$ in future and debt of 0.5$ is way easier to pay than the 1$ now. But US is not a maufacturing economy how will it increase its income. And lowring the value of US$ plus other countries selling the very debt its printing money from they are seperating themselves from the ripple effect. So in the end US$ dollar will get low and the other currencies will have more value which will affect the import adversely for US. How will this playout with high import cost and and and eventual manufacturering economy transition with big players already in the same industry. They will increase the royalties on their patents so so much that only the US products will be cheaper.

You are leaving out the important detail that the debt is owed to the Federal Reserve, which is owned and operated by a group of banking families, and the money we get loaned is issued to us by the Federal Reserve at interest. So if the only source of money is one private group, and it always comes with interest, then the whole system is a legalized scam and Ponzi scheme and the debt could never be repaid under any circumstances, which was the purpose of the scam in the first place. There is a "cheat code" - we can nationalize the Federal Reserve, which is something that should have happened many decades ago.

Isn't it true that if the rich paid their share of the taxes, no one else would have to pay taxes AND we would start having an excess of income instead of the deficit? I heard that just recently. They have over 90 percent of the wealth. It doesn't make sense to tax 10 percent of the wealth and not properly tax the other 90.

A fair enough description of the monetary horror we are facing, but why no dissent on how the phenomenon of usury has been installed and by whom? A quick study of the history of banking just in the last couple of centuries shows evil fraud to be behind the very financial structures that direct our lives. Instead, we get endless and useless discussion on the details of the problem instead of asking, "Why do we have this system and not some better system?"

people seem to have a big misconception around National Debt. Where they believe that all forms of national debt and rising national debt are automatically a bad thing. Because they have the view that someone might have about there own personal debt. Which is more = bad. And this can be true national debt can 100% be a problem when it massively balloons. debt only becomes a issue when it outpaces growth in a economy. even though more money might be added to the debut through the current defect if the economy grows more than that defect then you don't have a problem. which is why when you look at debut to gdp post covid it is expected to almost level out at around 107% from the 100% it was post covid stimulus. its relatively simple economics that to increase the good things in society like social care you need to get the money from somewhere. thus rising the debut. However these programs then grow the economy through government stimulus. actually helping the economy. a year ago people where doom calling the dollar as collapsing and how it was going to be removed as the worlds reserve currency. Showing that the markets and other country's obviously still have confidence in the us to grow. as long as debt keeps going into things that matter it dosent matter. ps - that doesn't mean that i don't think that there could and should be policy's implemented to help relive it. An increased rate of corporation tax or even just limiting tax loop holes is one method. And cutting down on certain governmental waste is enougher. I must trying to make that point that not everything is doom and gloom and gonna collapse. the economy is growing at 2.8% that's not bad. shows the debt has gone to something.

You are probably hate my comment. The problem with America is that it can't compete with China..... On wages, etc. The same happened 40 years ago with Japan. The upshot is that imports are miles cheaper than exports. You need to allow the national debt increase to high levels.... Why.... The there will be a tipping point....The American dollar will devalue in the currency market and thus Imports will become really...really expensive... Exports will become cheaper and then you can flood other countries with your products... As America has vast resources of Iron, coal, oil and other commodities... America doesn't need imports. Trust an old person that has lived through the 1970;s....... Debt is good

The US can pay it down and if they don't the USD will fall as the world's reserve currency. This would be a disaster and make the dollar lose 70-90% of it's value. RFK has actual solutions for this and could get us out of this mess. But most Americans are too blind to see the writing on the wall. RFK has Both parties against him along with msm and the corporations that control the 3 of them. This is known as the establishment. When the entire establishment tells you not too vote for the same candidate then they're the ONE. If people were still capable of thinking for themselves they would see the writing on the wall. Hopefully the next debate people will see the truth for the sake of the country and all of our futures.

Investing in Property or 2nd homes is a great investment if there are enough people needing to rent But when 90% of the population own homes already how is investing in property going to get you returns. If they sit there empty then obviously prices will go down and you are going to be paying for something nobody wants. That’s just bad business You can give councils instructions to buy them and turn them into affordable housing but then who is going to buy or live in the affordable housing cos 90% already have homes It’s just kicking the can down the road
